The legal wrangling extends to Michigan, where Attorney General Dana Nessel has rejected Polymarket and the CFTC’s arguments that the Michigan Gaming Control Board has no regulatory authority over prediction markets, even the ones allowing traders to buy and sell shares of sports outcomes.
Since returning its prediction market to the US, Polymarket has regularly engaged in nonconforming advertising. Painting a water tower in the company’s blue and branding the structure with its logo is the firm’s latest marketing ploy.
In March, Polymarket opened The Situation Room, a pop-up “newsbar” in Washington, DC. The bar and lounge’s televisions played various content related to prediction markets, like Bloomberg Terminals, cable news, and live social media feeds that were “dedicated to monitoring the situation.”

The ducks, previously depicted as targets, now appear armed and ready to retaliate. The tonal escalation matches Nolimit City’s house style, but the meaningful development sits in the feature layer.
The clearest example is the bonus structure, where the sequel widens the range of upgrades tied to its three free-spin tiers. Free spins activate when three, four or five scatter symbols land. Three scatters award seven Duck Hunt Spins, four scatters trigger eight Hawk Eye Spins and five scatters unlock ten Big Game Spins. Each tier grants progressively more upgrade selections, which is where the sequel’s expanded potential is concentrated rather than in the base game.
Nolimit City has also leaned harder into optional purchase mechanics, a defining part of its recent output. Duck Hunters 2 offers an extensive collection of optional purchase features. These span direct bonus buys, targeted feature purchases, and a booster menu that resets starting conditions.

Citizens gaming analyst Jordan Bender wrote in a 16 Sept. note that with the NFL season now under way: “Genius should benefit from increased spending across both traditional sports betting and the emerging prediction market industry.”
Added Bender: Genius’ recent deals with Kalshi and Polymarket “have provided an incremental positive catalyst for [Legend founder] Mr Kisberg and team”.
“We think investors will be looking for signs that Genius can leverage Legend’s relationship to capture a larger share of the rapidly expanding sports betting and prediction market opportunity,” he aded in a note this week.
